Photoshop Settings


Maya Depth Map Shadows

Get settings from the site Weecho gave us

Under Shadows Tab-
*Select Depth Map Shadows
*Resolution: 1024
*Filter size: 5
*Disk Mapped Dmaps: overwrite existing dmap(s)

Under Mental Ray tab-
*Use mental ray shadow map overrides
*take settings from Maya
*play with softness

You can also use the linear decay rate to soften the shadow over time

Th  3/1 (After discussion in class Th 23, we decided to have Animatic etc due today):
DUE:   B&W Animatic (Bring B&W SB into Photoshop and then into After Effects. Line OK.) Timing discussed. 
                Values, Drama, Lighting discussed.  You can try out music any time in this process.
                The following support your pitch for your animatic.  Write these out.
DUE:   One sentence description of story.
DUE:   Motivation of character.
