I just watched it again. Note emphasis on black and white and shift to color, drama and contrast of film noire, Depth of field (Citizen Cane), many ways of framing and moving with camera, using color for emotional value (Last Emperor, Godfather). Lots more. What applies, if any, to your developing ideas of your animation?
